* Make sure that the litter box is clean. Given a choice your cat would always use a clean litter box to urinate in. Make sure you are cleaning it both frequently and thoroughly enough.
* Your cat prefers a little privacy so place the litter box in a quiet location away from high traffic. Be certain though that it is easily accessible for your cat.
* The number one reason that cats urinate where they shouldn’t is that they have developed a urinary tract infection. Please take your cat to the Vet immediately because it is a very painful condition for your cat to have to suffer through.
